Hi,
We have a project where in IEQ C1 was attempted when almost the construction was already completed. Now the client does not want the Co 2 sensors to be located within the breathing zone of the rooms as it affects the aesthetics. Hence our HVAC engineers are proposing to place them within the return air grilles of the rooms. Since this approach would not be acceptable to USGBC they propose to decrease the Design Value (CO2 ppm) to make it even more stringent; so that it can accurately gauge the concentration levels within the breathing zone though placed at the return air grilles. Will this be a acceptable approach, please advice. Thanks.
