A demand response program with automation minimizes the delay in reducing electricity demand. Any thought on why option one of the demand response program for existing buildings doesn’t address load response programs with an automated activation system? We feel the credit should be expanded to cover this type of system because of the upfront (and on-going) investment made in automation systems. Option two addresses the automation system but with a price response program. Maybe there needs to be an option three.
