Living Future 2018 and Portland LF18 Ramp-Up Events

Want to make sure those in Portland are aware of a couple of LF18 Ramp-Up Events happening on April 10th.

Hi Everyone! If you like, I can try to arrange a side room for the Green Gurus/SDL group to meet up at the conference hotel. Also, I'd be happy to participate however you all would like. Nadav/you all could organize, we just provide the room and time, and ILFI stays out of it. Or - You all could plan it, and I could attend as a participant. Or - I could dedicate some of our staff time to help plan it, coordinate on an agenda, facilitate, etc. Just let me know! Looking forward to seeing many of you in May! -Shawn

Hi Amanda, and Shawn, Thanks for initiating this--absolutely, let's do it! Shawn, if you can help with a room and time, that would be awesome. And given that you're already part of this group, you should feel free to join. But I think we want to NOT make this another ILFI-sponsored event; we already have the entire conference for that, and it nice to have a space where there is no agenda other than whatever we as participants bring. Amanda--are you up for collecting names of interested people, so we have a rough count? And coordinating with Shawn on the time and place? If so, please let people know how to reach you to sign up. If not, let's see if there is another local volunteer--or we (BG) can do it. Thanks! Nadav

Thanks to Amanda for coordinating the list, and to Shawn for finding us a meeting room! We had a really nice meet up. After going around the room to hear what's inspiring for everyone, we chose to do a short, not-so-deep dive into the question of: How do we start to get a handle on social equity? Interesting discussion. Very sorry to miss it… right up my alley. We will be working on some of these issues at the Community and Affordable Housing Summit at Greenbuild.
