To be sertain, I want to ask a opinion for a situation, where a office building has vision to inner yard. Basic situation contains two office masses with glass roof covered 35 ft inner yard in between.
If I understand correctly, thsi yord is considered to be inner space and no line of sight credits awarded. However, if yard would be exterior space, this credit could be applied.
Have I understood this credit correctly ?

Yes, the credit requirements call for a line of sight to the "outdoor environment."

There's a difference between "inner space" )I'm not sure that's a defined term by USGBC) and a regularly occupied space. I think we need to understand the use (not the construction) of the space before we can make a determination.

Timo, I agree with Tristan, the view needs to be of an exterior space.
