We are working on a multifamily residential building where lighting fixtures are only specified for bathrooms, kitchens & hallways while the bedrooms and living/dining rooms are supposed to have receptacle lighting. We have typically used 1.1W/SF for entire apartment on both Baseline & Proposed cases on several models before and never received any comments until now, when the LEED reviewer is questioning the use of "Dormitory/Living Quarters" for apartments in Baseline in the newer Table 1.4. Is there any guidance or document anywhere that lists what should be the LPD for such scenarios? Or am I better off making an argument that "Dormitory/Living Quarters" or "Hotel Rooms", both of which have same LPD, is the best approximation for LPD in such cases?

Multifamily residential lighting is not covered by 90.1.
