Hi,
I am working on a core and cell project, There are some spaces don't have lighting power (o kw) such as void, lift (not lobby), escalator, duct and etc. How to select the space type for those spaces in Minimum energy performance calculator table lighting tab.

If there is no lighting it does not get included.
I would think that the elevator itself and escalator would have lighting. Both are most similar to a corridor. For the elevator you could probably argue an exception for lighting as part of a piece of equipment installed by the manufacturer. In that case the elevator lighting should be modeled identically in both models.

In the US, lighting in the elevator shaft is required through the elevator code.

Hi Marcus,
Thank you for the reply and please advise, unless we won't be able to include the spaces in the minimum energy performance calculator table, lighting tab. then we will get the deviation from general information tab and lighting tab regarding total building area. How to sort out this issue.

Then you explain the deviation with a project team response in the issues table at the bottom of the Performance Outputs tab.
