NC-2009 IEQc4.1:Low-Emitting Materials—Adhesives and Sealants

Leveling Compounds

Has anyone experienced reviewers comments on Leveling Compounds or is the application more geared towards flooring systems? Most compounds are zero VOC but may contain Prop 65 chemicals if used in LEED for Healthcare or LEED 2012 eventually. Thanks!

I've never received a comment, but I report them under IEQ 4.2, yes, because they are applied on-site inside the weatherproofing barrier. I assume you're talking about Ardex and similar products.

Thanks for your reply, Marian. I just did a bit of homework and and Ardex indicates its Leveling Compounds are FloorScore certified.Check out: www.buildsite.com/dbderived/ardex/derived.../derivedC578209.pdf
