Here is what our template letter states:
"The project has permanent whole building & site energy and water meters that measure the total potable water and total energy use for the building and associated grounds. The project building and associated site is not provided with nonpotable water or onsite renewable energy systems.
The project owner is committed to sharing whole building energy and water data, compiled into monthly and annual summaries, with USGBC for a five-year period beginning on the date of LEED certification or when the project reaches typical occupancy, whichever comes first.
Furthermore, the project owner commits to providing whole building water and energy consumption data to the U.S. Green Building Council and acknowledges that USGBC will only accept the data using ENERGY STAR’s Portfolio Manager import facility data templates."
We adjust this if non-potable water of onsite renewable energy is part of the project.
Out letter also addresses the site's smoking policy, so we knock out three prereqs with one letter.
Hope this helps!
