For option 3 of this credit, providing dedicated parking for carshare vehicles allows for a point. How does LEED define 'carshare vesicles'? Does this mean parking for carshare companies like Zipcar, Maven, Getaround, etc? Would this also include car-pooling?
Thanks you for any information you may have.

I have a similar question. Our client has shared company vehicles for employees, and wanted to confirm if they would qualify.

Knowing the history of this credit, I believe the intent is to use companies like Zipcar/Getaround/etc so building occupants and members of the public are able to make trips from the building without a personal vehicle. So not carpool spaces.
Company vehicles would be a little more of a gray area. The credit has always excluded fleet parking, i.e. parking for company vehicles used for company business. But vehicles that employees could use for personal errands might be acceptable, since they'd be meeting that intent of making it easier for employees to come to work without a personal vehicle. If that's the case I'd ask USGBC for clarification.

Hello,
In relation to this topic, the credit's requirements include the fleet (carshare vehicles) or only providing preferred carshare spaces will be enough?
We are working in a Core and Shell project and the project team accepts providing spaces but they have doubts related to the fleet.
Thank you in advance.
