The certification according to the Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC) should be considered in version 5. CSC aims to promote responsible sourcing and production of concrete, cement and aggregates aligning with cradle-to-cradle certification principles. I suggest incorporating LEED credits for CSC certification to encourage the use of eco-friendly concrete solutions. I support the detailed proposal from Michael Scharpf, posted on May 16th.
Furthermore, as many other experts stated before, its absolutely not clear why structural building products will be excluded in version 5 as they have the biggest impact from the material side. What is the sense behind this proposal?
