LEED v4 ID+C – Baseline Envelope Clarification (ASHRAE 90.1-2010)

Hello,

We are working on a LEED v4 ID+C office fit-out project with no envelope modifications — the envelope is entirely outside our scope of work.

For the baseline envelope, should we follow:

1. Appendix G, Table G3.1 Section 5(f) — baseline envelope = existing base building envelope?
2. Or does the LEED v4 ID+C Reference Guide override Section 5(f), requiring the baseline envelope to follow ASHRAE 90.1-2010 prescriptive values?

Any references to the relevant Reference Guide section or LEED Interpretations would be very helpful.
