A project for which level 2 energy audit had been carried out and implemented more than a year ago, can that energy audit report and the measurement and verification results from the last one year be used for meeting the credit requirement? The owner did not want LEED certification when the energy audit implementation and M&V was carried out, but is now interested in the certification.

Hi Aber, you can use an energy audit that's from up to two years before the date you submit your project to GBCI for Preliminary Review. You don't have to make any changes or updates if its from that window of time. If your audit is between 2 and 5 years old (from the date you submit to GBCI), you have to update the findings but you don't have to redo the entire audit. The updates could include things like changes to operating procedures, setpoints, etc and/or energy costs.
