LEED Rating System Selection

LEED v4 Core & Shell or Warehouse & Distribution Center

We are starting a new project that will designed as a C&S Warehouse.  The client's goal is to achieve LEED Silver with minimal cost.  We will be using EAp2, Option 2 for this project and the site does not offer many LT credits.  Due to the credit distribution between these two scorecards, we are looking for recommendations as to which scorecard to use.

Hi Laura, We do a lot of these cold, dark shell warehouses and have always found the CS scorecard to work best. The Warehouse rating system is actually intended apparently for built out warehouses. You will likely want to substitute the Diverse Uses credit from the Warehouse system. But you should be able to do this by asking the LEED coach to approve.
