- Are all these testing methods accepted as equivalent by LEED? For example a paint with PASS under AgBB testing is it the same with French A rate?
- Considering French legislation, what is LEED v4 compliant rate A+ or A or both?
- Is there a VOC emission testing method especially used for LEED v4 compliance for paints and varnishes?

Hi, the wording of the credit may lead to misunderstandings. The core saying in the credit is:
"Projects outside the U.S. may use products tested and deemed compliant in accordance with either (1) the CDPH standard method (2010) or (2) the German AgBB Testing and Evaluation Scheme (2010)." French A+ class does not play any role here.
The original meaning was that another requirement has to be fulfilled as well - which is written only in the Reference Guide, unfortunately: Formaldehyde emissions after 28 days in a test chamber must not be higher than 10 µg/m³. If a product is labelled with French A+ class, then this is fulfilled for formaldehyde. But the VOC related requirements of French A+ class are not stringent enough to show LEED compliance. French A class is even less stringent and therefore is not helpful for LEED compliance at all.
So - you need to fulfil AgBB and to show low formaldehyde emissions for the European compliance pathway - the latter can be done either by showing French A+ class or by other means.
There is no special European test method for LEED compliance. The mainly used testing method in Europe is EN 16516 (general emissions testing, superseeding and including the referenced ISO 16000 standards). For paints this can be done in combination with EN 16402 (paint specific, superseeding and including the referenced ISO 16000-11 standard).

Hi,
I am working on a retail project and the painting spec has third-party verification Green Seal, CDPH, and VOC emission is zero. I have received the GBCI's comments and they are requesting a spec that has CDPH requirements and I am not sure what to provide when spec already calls out for CDPH. Here is the link to the spec:https://media.benjaminmoore.com/WebServices/prod/assets/production/datas...
