I have noticed that in LEED OM v4.1 beta has changed the Enhanced Refrigerant Management credit to a prerequisite.
This mandatory provision would preclude most buildings and spaces which are based on VRF or multisplit systems from LEED application. Moreover, there are leased commercial spaces which are served by the landlord's systems or by the building in which the space is rented. In that case, projects do not have a choice to choose their HVAC system.
Has anyone heard about any Alternative Compliance Path to demonstrate compliance for this prerequisite?
Thank you,

I have spotted that the November 2018 update has corrected this issue. Now Enhanced Refrigerant Management is a credit. The updated beta guide can be found at https://www.usgbc.org/resources/leed-v41-om-beta-guide
