This credit is EAc7 in LEED 2009 V3 - Healthcare.
My project does not have any of the equipment listed on the form (below). Can we still achieve a point for this credit?
- Gaseous and Liquid-Fueled Stationary Engines – Emergency or Standby Power Uses
- Gaseous and Liquid-Fueled Stationary Engines – Non-Emergency and Non-Standby Power Uses
- Landfill and Digester Gas-Fired Stationary Engines
- Natural-Gas-Fired, Fan-Type Central Furnaces (heating only with input rate less than 175,000 BTUH, or heating and cooling with cooling rate of
less than 65,000 BTUH)
- Residential Type, Natural Gas-Fired Water Heaters
- Boilers, Steam Generators, Water Heaters, and Process Heaters (rated heat input capacity less than or equal to 400,000 BTU per hour)
- Boilers, Steam Generators, Water Heaters and Process Heaters rated heat input capacity greater than 400,000 BTU per hour and less than or equal to 2,000,000 BTU per hour)
- Boilers, Steam Generators, Water Heaters, and Process Heaters
(rated heat input capacity greater than or equal to 5,000,000 BTU per hour)

Thank you for pointing out that this Pilot Credit came from LEED for Healthcare. I see that it has NOT been retained in LEED-HC v4; anyone know if it is still alive and kicking, or if it is being retired? If it is still viable, it should be updated--the referenced SCAQMD Rules have been updated since the years listed year.

According the pilot credit requirements, the very last item says "Projects that do not contain combustion equipment are not eligible for this credit.

The LEED certification review report (preliminary) for my project is suggesting that I pursue Pilot Credit 66 in lieu of an Innovation in Design credit regarding VOC processing via RTO.
The review states as follows: "The project may wish to document if the project meets the requirements for Pilot Credit 66: EA- Community Contaminant Prevention- Airborne Releases. The project has met the California South Coast Air Quality Management District standards for all products of combustion and the emission limits in the Table are not exceeded. If so, register and provide the required pilot credit documentation."
However, the types of combustion equipment listed in the form (EA Credit 7) does not include RTO's (natural gas powered). Which type of combustion equipment listed is the more appropriate in this case?

This pilot credit is still alive and I have applied for it on one of our Healthcare projects. My question is how do we document this credit? What kind of product data sheet for kitchen equipment can show that the equipment meets SCAQMD Standards. The project is in LA County.
