Has ther been a study or comparative analysis of German local regulations or equivalences to LEED criteria.
For example,
SS - Construction Activity Pollution Prevention - Are there local German equivalents to EPA and CGP?
EA - Fundamental commissioning and verification - Do HOAI construction phases requirements for building services align with Cx Fundamental requirements? The role of the MEP consultant is very detailed and defined in the German construction industry.
Many thanks!

Hi carlos,
maybe you can check this LEED v4 BD+C Alternative Compliance Paths for Europe (April 2018) | U.S. Green Building Council (usgbc.org)
but unfortunetaly, for the topic of EAp Minimum Energy Performance, I have asked to USGBCI, they said "the German Standard DIN V18599 cannot be used in place of ASHRAE 90.1-2016 for the energy performance prerequisite and credit", not sure, should it be extra cost to do double energy modeling acording to EnEV and ASHRAE for project in Germany if plan to do LEED certification?
best!

Hi Carlos,
regarding SSp1, CGP is equivalent to "Baugenehmigung", so a good start is to ask the project planer or Bauherr which rules did they plan on following and if Erosions- und Sedimentkontrolle are even required by law. If this is more stringent than EPA, that is documented for Option 2.
If it is not more stringent than EPA, they (or someone else) would have to create a document, ESC-plan, in which the steps from EPA are described and list them as mandatory to follow on the construction site. Then you'd use option 1 of the prerequisite.
