NC-2009 PIf1:Minimum Program Requirements

LEED EBOM on Industrial Buildings

I am aware that LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance is applicable to any commercial and institutional buildings, however, I would like to hear your opinion whether it is suitable and makes sense to be applied to an industrial manufacturing facility that is comprised mainly of open space manufacturing areas with machinery and equipment and very few workstations or offices of any kind. Thank you.

Pedro, LEED-EBOM is suitable for manufacturing facilities as long as you can comply with all of the Minimum Program Requirements and prerequisites. You may want to read the EAp2 forum for LEED-EBOM to see the different ways to benchmark your energy performance for a manufacturing facility. http://www.leeduser.com/credit/EBOM-2009/EAp2 Good luck!
