Hello, I am working on a project in Davis. The building utilizes campus (district) steam for heating and chilled water for cooling. We have a single, large outdoor package unit air handler with CHW & HHW coils. While there are many details I am omitting here, my main goal is to understand how to model this in EnergyPro via "Option 1" of the DES Guidance document from USGBC.
Looking at this post (http://www.energysoft.com/faqs/how-can-i-use-energypro-to-do-a-leed-proj...) I am unclear on the "deliverables" or uploads LEED is looking for. It appears for option one, a speadsheet must be manipulated and provided to LEED, the starting point a CSV file output from EnergyPro. I would also assume LEED will want to see the LEED Compliance Summary Report that EnergyPro (along with the related SV-A & BEPU reports) outputs. How do I make sure the autopopulated report fills in the right info for the District Energy Systems?
Can someone who has done a project similar to this (new building using "purchased" campus utilities) walk me through what I need to do in EnergyPro to model this appropriately, as well as output the reports LEED is looking for? It seems like the "deliverables" are vague and not clearly defined.
I am happy to answer any further questions that would help respond to mine. Looking forward to any and all responses.
