If I understand your situation, you want to get a LEED-CI certification without having completed some of the HVAC work you need for a successful certification. I don't think this is possible—you would need to have completed any work you're relying on for final certification.
You rely on LEEDuser. Can we rely on you?

Hi Tristan,
Thanks for responding. I understand that final certification would be dependent on us completing the HVAC work that we are relying on. The uncertainty is around how long of a gap you can have between the phases of work. For example the interior build out is scheduled to be completed in Feburary 2011 and the HVAC work is not expected to be completed until 2015. With the project already registered is there a potential we will have issues with getting our eventual certification with such a big gap in time between phases?
