We are working on a High Rise MURB that will have grocery store on the ground floor. Has anyone experienced excluding a retail/ grocery store from the LEED boundary and excluded from certification?
- Its own separate systems (vent, heating, cooling, dhw etc)
- Currently no retail tenant onboard, client reluctant to have contract for retail to install what would be modelled during certification as they may not agree..
- Space allocated to the retail/ grocery store is minimum on the net area - 60/40 rule.
- Space will be core and shell and fitout by tenant (will be included in our modelling)
If this was attempted and complete, what conditions had to be met.
