My project is pursuing path 7 - water efficient landscaping - for SSc1. It is my assumption that our LEED Boundary should include the landscaped site as well as the building tenant space. Is this correct? If the on-site renewables path within this credit was selected instead, and the renewables were on the roof, would the LEED Boundary no longer include the landscaped site? Thank you.

SSc1 awards points for compliance of the entire building within which the CI project is located and thus does not impact the LEED project boundary. As a general rule, the area included in the documentation of SSc1 credits should be project boundary which would be applicable to the entire building if the building were undergoing LEED certification. In pursuing SSc1p7, you should show that the landscaped area would meet this requirement - in many cases this will be simple, but in a campus environment you may need to provide a more detailed description.
To document on-site renewables you will need to demonstrate that you have the required percentage of the building's (rather than the tenant's) annual power.
