LEED BD+C v4.1 Transit

We are currently working on a metro project comprising 13 stations (a mix of at-grade, elevated, and underground typologies) and 1 depot, spread across multiple locations within the city.

For this project, we are planning to pursue LEED BD+C v4.1 certification, with the following rating systems:

  • LEED BD+C: Transit v4.1 for the stations
  • LEED BD+C: New Construction v4.1 for the depot

We have downloaded the LEED Transit Guide from LEED Online, however, we were unable to locate the specific LEED Transit credit forms for reference. Does anyone know or have these forms available or if there is an alternate submission method applicable for Transit projects?

Additionally, if there is a most suitable approach for certification:

  • Would it be possible to pursue a Group Certification for the entire metro project, even though the stations and depot use different rating systems (LEED Transit vs. LEED NC)?
  • Several credits and strategies may overlap across the facilities (e.g., energy, materials, water efficiency), but the sites are geographically distributed within a city. In this case, would Group Certification still be permissible, or would Campus Certification be a better alternative?
  • If group submission is not feasible due to rating system variation, could we consider an alternate approach for the two certifications for the entire project?

Looking for the most appropriate and streamlined registration and certification strategy, especially in terms of documentation, form availability, and credit alignment.

Hi Deepika,Not sure if you solved this already but maybe i can bring some light to the topic.I am currently working on a very similar case, in your case my recomendation would be to go for a LEED Volume approach if all the metro belong to the same entity and they are to be building within 5 years. This way you just need to submit a LEED prototype precertification and have a workshop to determine which credits can be justify for all your buildings at once and which ones may need to be individually address. I believe that construction prerequisites and credits might need to be pursued individually, but this is something that you must discuss during the workshop.About the depot i think it will be required to have an individual certification for it.
