We have completed our first recertification using LEED ARC. We started out under the LEED Dynamic Plaque platform and the system changed to LEED ARC. It tracks five criteria, Energy, Water, Waste, Transportation and Human Comfort. There is less paper work. And submitting of the survey to facility employees is easier. Once the survey taker responds the platform tracks and quantifies the responses. We update our energy and water use in EnergyStar on a monthly basis and that is then shared to the ARC platform. We also track our waste monthly and so we enter our waste numbers every month. The testing of TVOC and CO2 in the facility was the most complicated or involved part, but we found a company that could perform the once a year testing and once it was completed we were ready to submit for our review. I uploaded all of the backup data to the platform per the online instructions and submitted for review. Other than a few clarifications it was pretty straight forward. The facility is now recertified as LEED Gold under the ARC system. Overall this was not that difficult to achieve. Under the LDP we purchased two plaques as the facility is rather large. The only issue with the plaques is they don't always have access to the platform and will give error readings. Sometimes the technical issues are on our side and sometimes it is on the platform side. The TVOC and CO2 testing must be performed annually, it may be possible for maintenance staff to perform the readings, but at this time we are using a 3rd party. Our next project will be to use ARC for initial certification for our next largest facility which is the Palmer Events Center. It is 1/5th the size of the Convention Center. As our policies and procedures are the same at both facilities we feel it should be fairly easy to meet all of the criteria. Hopefully by this time next year both our our centers will have current certifications.

So, for LDP, do we have to upload documentation in the arc platform? For example, preventive maintenance plan, sequence of operation, systems description, if yes, where should we do it?
Thanks
