Do products applied to the weather barrier need to comply with VOC thresholds?
How do I determine what application my product falls under?
How is VOC % less water determined for aerosol adhesives?
Do grout and caulking need to be included, and if so, what is the application category?

Erin, we've always used the "contact adhesive" category for plam applications. Technically this doesn't necessarily meet the definition but its never been rejected.

Great! Thanks so much!
I do have another question....we are having to take the budget method for this credit due this one laminate adhesive above being at 490 g/l!! Way over for contact adhesive which has a limit of 80.
Now we are running into this problem: documenting the amounts used in Liters for all adhesives sealants in project. For example: the grout and mortar are sold in 50lb bags. Does anyone have any experience with the correct way to document for this credit??

In our LEED submittals we ask for quantities of paints, adhesives, sealants etc. etc. applied on the project as well as VOC information. If this is done when the submittal is made you have the information if you need it. It's a pain to acquire it after the fact.
