The Pilot credit language cites the use of "exercise opportunities for at least 5% of FTE occupants that can be used at employee workstations to allow workers opportunities for physical activity while working at their desk...tread-desks, desk stationary bicycles, exercise ball chairs" etc. I would suggest that similar language be added to support educational furniture that allows for and encourages beneficial movement while in the classroom, for K-12 students. This is a growing field, and there are a number of furniture options that meet the low-emitting requirements of LEED and support a "fidget-friendly" environment.

This is a great idea, especially for K-12 schools!
