For those of you that don't know me, I'm the Director of Sustainability at the Structure Tone organization. Betting that you can guess what my role entails since you're all in similar roles and we've done the introductions a couple of times in different forums...given that I'd like to introduce myself personally.
I live in a suburb of Boston, called Brookline. I don't own a car. I have two kids, a seven year old son and a three year old daughter. My husband, who works as a consultant in the energy industry, just declared his candidacy for Massachusetts State Representative. In addition to all this I've just started an addition on my house and the temperatures here are sub-freezing. So I pretty much epitomize the words 'hot mess' on most given days.
Having said all that I'm excited for this group and the opportunities that it has to bring new dimensions to the work we do and elevate the visibility of sustainability, health and wellness in the construction industry. I often state that we need a cacophony of voices to make change.
