Trying to figure out how the Benefits side of this Log might work.
Working through CxAlloy software, we enter Issues as part of our Field Observation Reports. Once entered in a narrowly defined format, we can update individual issues directly. There's plenty of room for plenty of comments under each issue. Perhaps the first Comment could be: BENEFIT OF CORRECTING THIS ISSUE.
Then add specifics such as increasing energy conservation, facilitating user control, improving lightenabling monitoring of occupancy, etc.
I imagine the intent of including this section to underline the importance of correcting the issue to both Owner and Contractor. Am I on the right track?

I think you are. In the Executive Summary of the Cx reports that I have been involved with always has a summary of the action items and some breakdown on their cause. Then I would go into more detail on those items that could have caused increased energy use, comfort problems, or even damage. This is one way to show some of the value that comes from the process, but should also be a good lesson for the owner and operators of why continuous Cx is something that should be considered going forward.
