Hi,
we are considering the application of the water efficiency alternative compliance path (ACP) “Whole Project Water Use Reduction” (Pilot Credit) in a building with relevant water consumption for the industrial process (additionally to sanitary water and irrigation).
Our proposal to define baseline model is as follow:
- Industrial process: as described in credit language;
- Sanitary equipment: as defined in LEED Credit Indoor water use reduction;
- Irrigation:
- according to LEED Credit Outdoor Water Use:
- water savings for irrigation are calculated for the peak watering demand month;
- baseline water use is assumed to be equal to the evapotranspiration of the peak watering demand month (LEED v4_Outdoor Water Use Calculator);
- according to LEED Credit Outdoor Water Use:
This approach is not adequate for the above referred ACP (APC is based on annual water savings).
- our proposal is as follow: for each month assume that baseline water needs are equal to evapotranspiration of the month. Do you agree with this approach ?
Thanks for your attention. I’m looking forward to your reply.
