Hi All,
I try to respect this forum and limit sharing events to the ones that are extra exciting and this is one of them. Coming up on May 20th 4-6pm, Built Environment Plus (formerly USGBC MA) is launching our Building Tech Forum v2.0 Series. Here's the link to register: https://builtenvironmentplus.org/building-tech-forum-2020/
It starts with a virtual event with 15 5-minute presentations on some of the latest and greatest strategies and technologies on the Roadmap to Zero Carbon by 2050. (Does the format seem familiar?) We'll be hosting the presentations and ways to connect with the presenters on our website after the event. Some people will give a full version of their presentation at a later date. Our plan is to host one of these every couple of months with different themes. We have a "pay what you can" model for attendees. One plus to our current situation is the virtual format allows any of you to attend (or even present at) our events!
We're still rounding out the lineup so ping me if you have some folks who might want to present.
I thought you'd also like to know that my peers (leaders of non-profits advancing sustainability in the built environment) across the country are in communication and collaborating even more now than before all of this craziness. I think its important for our respective organizations to keep a regional focus since sustainability is really local, right? At the same time we have a great opportunity to share resources and knowledge now that our communities are more easily accessible virtually.
Best, Meredith
