Hi SD Leaders!
I'm Nadav, president at BuildingGreen and facilitator of the Sustainability peer networks. I'm really excited to finally have this network for champions from smaller firms up and running!
I do a lot of workshop facilitation, design process support, and consulting and training related to sustainable products. I also help with the editorial direction at BuildingGreen, including both BuildingGreen.com and LEEDuser.
I live in Brattleboro, Vermont (home of BuildingGreen's world HQ), with my wife Janice (a psychotherapist). We have a daughter who's a junior in college, and two older children who have been adults in the world for a quite a while. (I joined Janice and started helping to raise them when they were almost teenagers. After starting with adolescents, parenting a baby was a piece of cake!) One of them is married with kids, so we also have two grandchildren.
My main interest with this network is to support whatever it is that you all want to talk about and work on, to support your critical work. As the world seems to be finally tuning in to the urgency of mitigating climate change (not to mention all the other ecological and social challenges), we need to be prepared with solutions, and supporting all firms in making every project part of the solution. How can we get there?
Please introduce yourself here, and let us know what's top of mind for you. (And, if you haven't already, add a picture and bio to your profile on BuildingGreen.com, so we can learn more about each other as the network grows.)
Nadav
