I'm working on a project that will pursue LEED certification, catergory is Retail.
The project has a space called "Print room" but it main activity will be vinyl stamp with a Clamshell heat press (it's like a big iron machine for vinyl stamp for clothes, it's not a print machine).
My queries are, since the space is basically not considered as a printing/copying room...
- Does this kind of spaces is considered as a "hazardous gases/chemicals space"?
- Does this space needs to be fully closed to create negative preassure with respect to adjacent spaces?

Giovani,
It seems even though you don't have any copy machine in the room, still the printing process results in high VOC emission in the space. I suggest you consider the space as hazardous gases/chemical space and follow the requirement.
does the printing comes with heating or it's only more like a press machine?

Hi Mohammad.
According to our project manager, it's more like a press machine.
So, would it still be considered as a hazardous gases/chemical space?
