The project team pursued this pilot after achieving the MRcBPDO EPD/HPD credits, which allowed us to better understand the lifecycle of each product we anayzed from an environmental and human health lens. This exercise provides teams with important details regarding manufacturing and end-of-life procesees for brands that choose to disclose such data, which can help at an early stage in the project when product selection takes place.

I've pursued this pilot credit on several projects, and I agree. The combination of EPDs, HPDS, and safety data sheets provides a clearer picture of the product.
