Hi,
Question about the MRc2 Environmentally Preferable Products Credit (https://leeduser.buildinggreen.com/credit/Homes-v2008/MRc2). In Table 1, under Insulation, this is a requirement under Emissions Specifications:
Comply with California “Practice for Testing of VOCs from Building Materials Using Small Chambers”: www.dhs.ca.gov/ehlb/IAQ/VOCS/Practice.htm"
The link is broken and I can't find any record of that standard.
Thanks a lot!

Sarah,
The name of the standard has been changed to: "Standard Method for the Testing and Evaluation of Volatile Organic Chemical Emissions from Indoor Sources using Environmental Chambers". You can find the standard here: https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CCDPHP/DEODC/EHLB/IAQ/CDPH%20Document%2...
According to LI 1884, a list of compliant insulation materials is provided by the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (another CA state organization) at the following link: https://chps.net/products. I suggest using that website to find products rather than using the environmental chambers testing standard, if possible.
Alternatively, according to LI 10196, if a product is verified as meeting the GREENGUARD Children and Schools certification or conforming to CA Department of Public Health Standard Method Section 01350, it satisfies the credit requirements for low-emissions insulation. Also note that according to LI 2708, the requirements for insulation do not apply to rigid sheathing insulation, unless it is part of an integral insulation product (e.g., SIP, ICF).
