My Client found the AIA document very helpful in learning about global best practices in preventing COVIC infection at her building. Daily surveys: the requirement for management was aligned with company policy. The team did not find daily occupant (paper) survey helpful. I'm wondering what were other teams experiences.

We are going for BD+C system, not for OM. Therefore, our project is in construction phase.
AIA occupancy tool would not be applicable in our case. The tool provides guidlines for the projects in operation phase, not in constrution phase.
The requirements to C-19 Management plan can be applied to the construction site, therefore we could comply with them without problem.
There is no category as building occupants for the construction site. Therefore dayli journal for occupants would not be applicable. However, management staff on the sites usually have their tools to make sure all measures are inplemented dayli as per C-19 management plan.
I am would like to know how other teams with projects in construction stage documented the credit.

We have NC projects with the same issue, the plan may not be applicable if the project has not entered operational phase.

My client found the AIA document useful, though there were a number of N/A items. The project was partially operational (while consruction was finishing up), hence the pilot applied here. The daily journal for occupants was found to be additional work.

A paper version of the occupant survey may not be the most convient for folks. Perhaps an electronic version would be more effective, especially for tracking and/or data collection.

Our project is in operation phase. Because during the epidemic, the safety plans for return workspace are available, and the daily journal has become common practice, this credit could be considered as an innovation score.

Agreed with the paper copy - seems wasteful and more items for multiple people to touch. A building wide survey through QR code or online platform would be best!

We have incorporated the requirement of this credit in one of the commercial interior projects. The project has implemented various preventive measures such as a wearing mask while on work, self health declaration for visitors and employees, infrared temperature sensing at the entry, maintaining distance, touch point reduction, frequent cleaning, disinfection & sanitization activities. etc.

A CI project of ours is pursuing this credit and we plan to have the occupant survey be filled out electronically and then sent to HR on a regular basis for evaluation. Is there a requirement on how often those responses need to be reviwed - is it daily and if so any idea what the requirements are for followup?

Is there a response rate expected for the daily journal questions?

I just registered two BD+C projects for this pilot credit, and I was approaching it similar to a Thermal Comfort occupant survey, or the No-Smoking prerequisite. We are preparing the procedures for eventual occupancy and operations. Anyone else using this strategy?

We have a digital Survey Monkey survey that is available for employees to report concerns or comments. We also have a health screening survey that is is used daily for contact tracing purposes. I agree that the paper surveys weren't as desirable for staff.

I agree that a quick digital response survey would be better, especially for data collection to later comparisions.

I agree that the AIA document useful (digital) also for projects pursiung BD+C: New Construction projects; some answers were NA. But considering that our project started occupancy during a pandemia, revising the information against what would be its initial operations, was useful to detect strategies and requirements to implement for its occupants safety (employees and visitors).
