Greetings friends of sustainable culture, I have two questions regarding this Innovation credit.
1. The credit description references that "we must meet the exemplary performance of the base credit." My question is what is the base credit?
2. There is no indication as to what type of project this Innovation credit can be applied to in the Innovation catalog. In the reference guide the only credit for reduction of mercury applies to Healthcare projects. As this is not specifically stated in the catalog description would I be able to apply to our new community college buildings? We have all LED light fixtures.
Thank you for your help.

Hi Jose,
If you are using all LED fixtures, the mercury content in your project will be 0 picograms per lumen hour and you'll be compliant with the "base credit requirement." We typically provide a luminaire schedule verifying only LEDs are being used, and a narrative explaining that because we only have LEDs, we did not perform calculations to verify we are under 35 picograms per lumen hour and are compliant. We have always gotten this credit approved with these two supporting docs.
This Innovation credit is applicable to all BD+C and ID+C rating systems - you should be able to apply it to a community college building.

FYI, the base credit requirements refer to the EB O&M v2009 (v3) rating system version from which this credit originally borrowed.
