May be a dumb question -- but how do I go about documenting innovation credits? In the innovation form it asks us to list the credit then provide documentation of it. Credits like Occupant Comfort Survey or Green Building Education don't have a documentation section on the USGBC website, whereas something like School As A Teaching Tool has specific documentation. So since there is no innovation credit specific forms, is documentation merely about intent or is there something I'm missing here?

Innovation credits need a narrative that identify the following items:
• the intent of the proposed innovation credit
• proposed requirements for compliance
• proposed submittals to demonstrate compliance
• the design approach or strategies used to meet the requirements
Occupant Comfort Survey credit don't have a documentation section on the USGBC website, but it has performance section showing that we need to document the survey result, then need to develop and implement a corrective action plan to address comfort issues if the results indicate that more than 20% of occupants are dissatisfied.
Green Building Education credit don't have a documentation section on the USGBC website, but it has section of requirements and additional guidance. Those sections tell the suggested supporting documentation such as:
• a signage program (electronic examples)
• a case-study (pdf of the hardcopy)
• guided tours (a script and our stop description drawing)
• an educational outreach program (detailed narrative and supporting document)
