LEED Recertification: When and How

Indoor Air Quality Testing

To Whom It Concerns,

I have been asked to complete an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Investigation of a 500,000 square foot LEED certified building. The municipal building has been occupied for nearly 10 years. What should I include in my IAQ Investigation to maintain LEED Certification. Please advise.

Thank you,

Brian

Hi Brian, check out EBOM v4 EQc1 for information about developing an IAQ management program based on EPA's I-BEAM program. Or, if you are looking to take actual indoor measurements, you could look to the EBOM v4.1 EQ prerequisite for IEQ Performance, which covers testing for different VOCs and contaminants.
