Technically, it should not, as your scope of work is presumably specific to the ceiling/roof and the portion of the exterior wall. However, if the reviewer can deem the project as being a "major renovation" as classified under ASHRAE, they could theoretically require the entire envelope to meet the EAp2 requirements. Paul
