We are currently working on completing the design documentation for a large high school pursuing LEED v4. The Minimum IAQ Performance Calculator does not have a space type for locker rooms, which require ventilation (ASHRAE 62 has exhaust of 0.5 CFM/FT^2). Under LEED v3, there was an option for “Other” spaces that we used to add locker room spaces to the IEQp1 documentation. What do you recommend we use for a space type in the new form? We cannot simply exclude these spaces as they are a majority of the area for the unit.

Is the building design meeting the exhaust requirement for the locker rooms per the ASHRAE 62 standard? If so, you could demonstrate how the locker ventilation meets the exhaust requirement and exclude the area from the VRP calculations.
