In adding up the "paved" areas, are granite curbs (between the sidewalk and street) typically included? How about the tops of planter bed walls??
Also, I am finding it just about impossible to find SRI values for granite curbing. Anyone have a good resource?
Thanks!

I posted this question about wall tops and curbs a while ago, and the issue has come up again, so asking again... anyone have any insights? Thanks!

Erica, I think these clearly meet the definition of "hardscape" and should be included. On a practical level, that might be challenging, and even more so if you are counting on those surfaces to be SRI-compliant. I think it would be advantageous to be able to avoid this level of detail, by being out ahead in your credit calcs.

Thanks for the input, Tristan -
We are definitely cutting it close! We can do some shading calcs as an alternaitive, but it's actually easier to just include the wall tops. just seeing if others thought this was viable.
