For Schools, the LEED v4 Reference Guide states that the project has to meet the percentage reduction requirements AND "install equipment within the project scope that meets the minimum requirements in either Table 2, 3, 4 or 5." My question is.. if your building does not have any of the equipment types (and none of the equipment is in your project's scope, so it's not even applicable) listed in Tables 2, 3, 4 or 5, then can you still earn points for this credit by meeting the percentage reduction requirements? Or is this credit null and void because the project doesn't have any applicable equipment?

Hi,
If you're able to meet the Prereq/Credit requirements via the normal flush/flow fixtures, it is not required that your project has the appliances listed in order to be eligble. You should be fine if they're not part of the project.
You may want to state that directly in the credit form so that it's clear to the reviewers (though they will see for themselves in the schedule/drawings, anyway).
