We have 17 different types of ceramic tile on a job I'm documenting in LEED Online. Since ceramic tile qualifies for IAQ credit points automatically, do I need to itemize the tile in the form, or will it be acceptable to enter T-01 through T-17 in the Product Name / Model column. Thanks.

I wouldn't bother itemizing, but I would add a note in the special circumstances box (or just in the table if there's room) explaining that the one line represents 17 tile products and confirming all are exempt.

Thanks. Will it matter if there are different manufacturers?

The key thing here is to 1) account for all flooring products, and make it clear to the reviewer that a short/condensed list of products doesn't mean some are missing and 2) confirm that all automatically qualifying materials have no potentially VOC emitting coatings that would require additional documentation. So a statement that you've reviewed the product documentation and confirmed that all 17 products are exempt and have no additional coatings, should be sufficient without manufacturer info. In my experience as a reviewer I would prefer to NOT have detailed info on ceramic tile products - it's a lot to look through just to verify that a product is a ceramic tile! - but you'll have those backup docs in case your reviewer does choose to question something.

Hi Emily and All, what about thresholds such as stone/ marble thresholds and bronze-
do we need to get a mfgr. statement that those products each have no additional coatings? or would we just need to do that for the stone? I suspect the answer is yes to both.
Thanks! :")
