IEQ Space Matrix: hotel corridors, elevators and stairs

the July 2012 space matrix identifies corridors, elevators and stairs in hotel projects as individual occupant/non-regularly occupied spaces. if this is not an error in the form, i don't seem to be able to follow the logic why corridors etc should not be considered multi-occupant spaces as seems the case with other building types in the matrix. any clarifications? many thanks!

Hi Jutta, Please check out the latest IEQ Space Matrix which states that those spaces should be excluded. You can view the matrix from this April here: http://www.usgbc.org/resources/eq-space-type-matrix And the FAQ section on LEEDuser here: http://www.leeduser.com/blogs/leed-ieq-space-matrix-frequently-asked-questions
