We are working on a project outside of the US, and our Civil Engineer has developed their plan in accordance with IECA (International Erosion Control Association) standards. I am trying to understand the differences between the US EPA CGP and IECA, and figure I would reach out, in case anyone has looked at both standards recently, and can provide a little insight, or direction on where to focus my narrative.

Overall, all control strategy in IECA comply with the requirements outlined in the CGP. The US EPA CGP consists of 3 sections (erosion and sedimentation control, stabilization, and pollution prevention) while IECA consists of 6 sections (erosion control, sediment control, drainage control, de watering, instream practices, and miscellaneous).
The IECA is a non-profit, international, member organization that provides education, resource information and business opportunities for professionals in the erosion and sediment control industry which has several chapters, one of them is Australasian Chapter (https://www.austieca.com.au/about-us/about-us).
For narrative, you should include timing of the implementation of the plan, specific control measures applied on site, and maintenance protocols used to ensure the proper function of control measures.
