ID Credit - Building as a Teaching Tool

I am working on a building for a University and they are wanting to have a "Digital Dashboard" or a "Vital Sign" for the building. This would serve at least two functions, one to teach/inform the students of the measures that have been taken to make the building sustainable and two as an easy method to observe the performance of the building for students and facility management. The sign would have such things as energy usage, geothermal HVAC system, and rainwater harvesting. Here are some links to the "Vital Signs" I am referring to. http://qagraphics.com/energy-efficiency-education-dashboard.html http://kes.siemens.greentouchscreen.com/ My question is, has anyone had any success in trying to achieve a credit for something like this? And if so what are some of the issues, or implementation of things to avoid issues you undertook? I'm trying to determine if this is a viable enought to try and get a ID credit for. Really any insight you have on this subject and your opinion if it would be worth an ID credit or not would be helpful.
