the USGBC issued the following ruling: “Project teams may classify duct sealants under “Other”, as listed in the SCAQMD VOC Limits table.” The category of “Other” in the SCAQMD VOC Limits table has a maximum limit of 420 g/l. Thanks for the link. Childers and Foster manufacture a wide variety of low VOC duct sealants, mastics, coatings etc. etc. There are charts on their websites. Of course they just give the VOC data and don't define which SCAQMD value it relates to. The high temp sealants are always as issue which is where the 420 g/L is valuable. Now I can go back and modify some of our specs without too much head scratching.
