NC-v4 EAc3:Advanced energy metering

How to claim "NC-v4 EAc3 - Advanced energy metering" credit for Villas

Before diving deep into the question, to gain more insight into the project, please read the following overview:

  • Project type: The beach resort including many individual villas and hotel
  • LEED boundary: LEED group building. In other words, the whole resort (including all villas and hotel) will be included in LEED boundary

Question: For villas (excluding hotel), Is it eligible for the credit if we conduct the following strategy?

The strategy goes like this: we're gonna install ADVANCED energy meter at each villa unit. In other words, the meter acts as an whole-Individual Villa energy source (there's no separate meter for every single end-use such as lighting, AC, DHW, ...). We're also aware that ADVANCED energy meter must have the characteristics complying with the LEED requirement

You are required to submeter the entire project by energy end use, so submetering the villas alone will not meet the credit requirements.
