Hi-Wall Filter

Hi! can i use a hi-wall in my project? The hi-wall don't have a merv 6 filter, but the outside air in the environment have. thanks!

ASHRAE 62.1 Para. 5.9 only applies to coils that serve occupied spaces. In order to comply with IEQp1, all wetted (cooling) coils serving occupied spaces must be filtered with a minimum of MERV-6. This is only for occupied spaces. If not occupied then there is no requirement but filters are highly advised.

ok! I asked this because I have worked on projects that did not make any assessment regarding the equipment filters hi-wall. And they had no filter MERV 6. But I'll do it, thanks!
