Hi everyone, I'm sure that some of you already received the message below from Kira Gould (and/or others), but assuming that it didn't get to all of you, I'm forwarding it here. I believe that Lindsay is in common cause with all of us here on this forum, and will provide meaningful built-environment contributions to COP.
Thanks for considering this.

Dear friends and fellow built environment community members,
I’m writing today to ask for your help.
COP28 is coming up in December and ILFI has been accepted for the first time as an official NGO participant with Blue Zone access, a status that requires a rigorous and year-long process to attain. It is an unprecedented opportunity for ILFI’s vision and voice to be heard and for your leadership to be represented as we work together toward a living future.
But to be at the table, ILFI CEO Lindsay Baker first needs to get there. Travel to Dubai is an expensive proposition that ILFI did not carry in its 2023 budget and it hits at the low point in the financial year. Thanks to careful management by Lindsay and the team, ILFI is on a strong financial course, but it is not in a position to afford the trip. Given this, we decided to reach out through this campaign of friends to send Lindsay to COP.
We are working to raise the $5000 it will take to cover the expenses of the trip by 3 November. Any and all contributions would be deeply appreciated.
I hope you will join me in contributing. It’s easy and tax-deductible. Just click this link:https://secure.qgiv.com/for/sendlindsaytocop28/.
If this is not the first such request you've received, please forgive the friendly redundancy; I'm tag-teaming with others to get the word out.
Thank you for supporting this brilliant change-maker (who I am so lucky to call friend and podcast co-host) in any way that you can.
Feel free to forward privately to others who may want to contribute but we are not looking to post this on public message boards.
Warmly,
Kira
